How to remove password from password protected PDF documents without using any tools or websites!
In our day to day activities, we usually come across PDF documents which are password protected. Initially its OK to enter password and open the PDF. But what if we need to open that file maybe after a year or so, at that point of time, its difficult to remember the password for every such PDF file.
I usually remove the password from PDF file and then save it in my drive, so that later I need not to remember passwords for such PDFs.
But how can we remove the password without using Acrobat Professional or some websites available on internet which removes the password? I have found out a trick of my own, thanks to Google Chrome as it provides this functionality.
Here are the steps to remove password from PDF files using Google Chrome (which I am sure must be installed on your PC). I am using the example of Bank Statement which came on my email. Generally banking documents are password protected, so it will make a good example.
  1. Right click on the PDF file and open the file through “Open with” option which appears in the context menu. Select “Google Chrome” from the list.
2. Now enter the password for this PDF file for the first and actually for the last time, after this, you need not to enter the password again if you follow the subsequent steps.
3. Once you enter the password, the PDF file will now open in the Google Chrome web browser. There you will see the “Print” icon on the top right section.
4. Click on that option (Print icon), not to print the document, but to save the document in PDF. You will see a screen like this. Click on “Save” button then.
5. If you want, you may replace the existing PDF document, which had password, with this one. That way, your PDF document will be free from password. (This step is optional, you may save it at a different location or with a new name).
Now your PDF document is free from password

Lock someone else computer in just a minute
This trick locks the computer startup and is easy to perform. Disclaimer: I am writing this only for educational purpose.
  • Hit Win key of your computer and search for ‘SYSKEY’.
  • A small box will pop-up on your screen. Click ‘Update’.
  • Check the radio button ‘Password Startup’ and enter a new password there.
Now every-time you open that PC it will ask for startup password. Like this:
So, if you don’t tell them the password you had input previously in SYSKEY then it is locked.

Make a program which can pronounce anything you input.
  • Open Notepad.
  • Type this:
Or just copy paste this:
  1. CreateObject("sapi.spvoice").Speak InputBox("Enter your text","Talk it")
  • Save it as a ‘.vbs’ file. For example ‘speak.vbs’
  • Now open the saved file.
  • This type of Interface will open.
  • Input the text there, press ok and listen how computer pronounce your name or text.

6. Take advantage of Facebook's powerful search engine

  • You can type in a person's phone number in the Facebook search bar to oftentimes see their name. This comes in handy for checking into the background of someone you're meeting up with to complete a Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace transaction.
On Facebook, you can also type in extremely specific search queries to network.
  • For instance, type "My friends of friends who live in San Francisco" to find mutual friends when you move to a new city.
  • Or, you can find new concert buddies by typing in "My friends who like Name of Artist."
  • You can even see who your friends of friends are at a company you're applying to by typing "My friends of friends who work at Google."

7. Use Shoutkey.com to easily share links to people

Link shortener sites like bit.ly are convenient and common, but there's an even better link shortener site that you probably haven't heard of. It's called ShoutKey.
Other link shortener sites' URLS are case-sensitive and difficult to read on a whiteboard or PowerPoint presentation. Not to mention, they're practically impossible to say out loud. "Oh, just go to bit dot l y slash x g capital H r 2132."
ShoutKey will randomly select a word to use that it places at the end of a Shoutkey.com link that's easily shareable and shout-able.

Pushbullet is an app and extension that brings all your devices together. 9. Use the OneTab extension to get your tab addiction under control

OneTab is arguably the best Chrome or Firefox extension you can download. The extension places a small button on your toolbar that, when pressed, converts all your open tabs into a list that you can easily open and access later. Or, you can export your tabs as a list of URLs to share with others. The extension saves up to 95% of your computer's memory, because your browser is no longer running all those tabs. Goodbye spinning wheel of death!
